Meditation + Writing Workshop Series
Releasing writer's block, creative self-doubt, and emotion by unconditionally surrendering to the currents of your creative flow
Allowing yourself to write freely, without wondering if it is any "good" or not, without prematurely editing every word or sentence you write, does wonders not only for your creativity, but also for your emotional well-being.
Why?
Because when you allow yourself to do this, you can allow a vibrant river of creative impulses to flow freely from you without restrictions. In this process, you release what you no longer want, plant new seeds for an exciting new idea, and honor your authentic voice, without getting in your own way.
Elizabeth's somatic-based, therapeutic creative writing workshops utilize a uniquely supportive group feedback model that helps you release your inner critic and write with wild abandon. They are a wonderful tool for writer's seeking relief from writer's block, writers looking to gain more creative confidence, or for anyone seeking more time and space to exercise their creativity or openly and honestly reflect upon life's wild happenings within a safe and supportive community.

More about Elizabeth Hoover:
She is a 200-hour certified Vinyasa yoga instructor, avid meditator, published poet, and former Creative Writing Instructor at San Francisco State University. She works as a writer and collaborator at Ink Worthy Books and runs a therapeutic writing program called What The River Carries.
Elizabeth is a firm believer in the therapeutic benefits of allowing yourself to write and reflect freely. She is passionate about supporting others in developing a strong writing practice so they can benefit from it as she does. From a young age, the practice of journaling, writing poetry, and short stories has offered her clarity, insight, emotional release, and has helped her better understand what she’d like to create in her life and why. She believes writing is for everyone and nobody should feel as though they “cannot” write. If you have thoughts, questions, insights, or feelings and can put a pen to a piece of paper to express them, then you can write. Her workshops take a somatic approach to opening up your creative channels by incorporating meditation and sometimes yoga. She loves connecting with others through the practice of writing
