Kriya Yoga & Sound Healing

A six session series starts Tuesday nights at 7:30pm from Nov 4th through Dec 9th. Space is limited!

Step into a deeply immersive and transformational experience that blends the ancient wisdom of Kriya Yoga with the restorative vibrations of sound healing.

Rooted in teachings over two thousand years old, Kriya Yoga is a sacred path of self-realization that guides practitioners inward through intentional breathwork, meditative focus, and mindful movement. This integrative practice works to harmonize the nervous system, awaken subtle energy, and deepen the mind-body connection.

Each class is designed to move you through gentle postures, conscious breathing techniques, and moments of stillness—ending with a sound healing session to support inner balance and energetic alignment.

Whether you're new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, this class offers a welcoming space to slow down, tune in, and reconnect with your inner wisdom.

Sound Baths

Meet Liane of LMNO Yoga

With over 20 years of yoga practice, my journey began as a personal path to healing. Diagnosed with a chronic pain disorder in my early 20s, I turned to yoga as a means of self-care and recovery. This commitment led me to pursue a 200-hour certification through the Yoga Center of Minneapolis, where I honed my focus on nervous system regulation and the transformative power of mindful movement.

In the past two years, I discovered the profound effects of sound baths, which inspired me to begin studying sound healing facilitation. Combining yoga and sound, I aim to create a holistic experience for my students, supporting them in finding balance, peace, and healing on and off the mat.

Register for a sound bath
  • A sound bath is an immersive listening experience that can include bowls, gongs and chimes and more to create a meditative experience. The benefits include: improved sleep, decreased stress and anxiety, improved mood, improved focus and clarity, as well as increased mind-body connection.

Heart Space will provide yoga mats and participants are encouraged to bring their mats for added support along with blankets, bolsters or pillows. Aromatherapy will be offered.

Expect to come, take up space in a relaxing setting while immersing yourself in a meditative experience.

  • First of all, historically sound healing practices have been around for centuries within various traditions such as Tibetan singing bowls, Native American drumming, and Gregorian chants. Today, research has shown that sound baths offer vibrational therapy noting that vibrations affect the body at a cellular level. Insights show that different frequencies impact our mental health and physical health. Studies have noted that sound waves have an influence on brainwave patters which impact relaxation and focus. Not only has sound bathing had studies that indicate its impact on mindfulness and meditation practices but also for emotional wellbeing and stress reduction.

If you want to get even more science-y with it, studies have examined the impact of sound on neuroplasticity supporting our cognitive functioning and recovery from trauma.

It is important to note that your participation in a sound bath is intended for relaxation and personal enjoyment. While many individuals find sound baths beneficial for stress reduction and overall well-being, they are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • At Heart Space, we provide mats, blankets, blocks and some pillows however for added comfort we encourage you to bring your own mat and anything else that would support you to feel cozy and comfortable.

  • Liane Olson of LMNO Yoga is our trained sound facilitator.
